Cancellations

Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your must notify our office at least 7 days prior to your schedule Flight. Schedule changes or cancellation within 7 days of your flight will require a $100 per person cancellation/rescheduling fee. 

Any cancellations within 48 hours of your scheduled flight or not showing up for your scheduled flight results in forfeiture of the entire cost of your flight. 
There is no penalty if your flight is canceled by Rocky Mountain Balloon Rides due to unfavorable weather conditions. If your flight is postponed, simply call your office to reschedule your flight. 

Gratuity

Gratuity is appropriate and appreciated by your pilot and crew. 

Average gratuity, 10% but of course rather than giving a gratuity the amount is strictly up to you.

    During our trip to Denver, CO, my wife and I scheduled a hot air balloon ride with Rocky Mountain Balloon Rides. It was very awesome experience for both of us, since this was our first balloon ride and we were both very excited about the adventure. Jeff was very professional and informative with the whole process from setting up to landing the balloon. Jeff kept us in the loop concerning the weather, to provide us the best ride possible!   2. “Jeff = ACE Balloon Guy”
    Jeff was timely and punctual in all our communications leading up to the flight. My wife and i had several questions for Jeff and he talked us through everything he was thinking, everything he was doing and seeing, from the instruments in the balloon, to the natural signals he was watching on the ground. The way he landed the balloon led me to believe he is supremely skilled at his craft. We landed on a dirt road (between the tire treads - are you kidding??!!!) as requested.   3. 95th Birthday Balloon Ride
    Jeff and crew offered a fantastic experience for such a special occasion. My father was celebration his 95th birthday with a balloon ride. Jeff took special care to assure the safety and enjoyment for him and the other passengers. The balloon was beautiful, the crew were all helpful and informative.
