ROCKY MOUNTAIN BALLOON RIDES VIP FLIGHT
This is our most popular flight! We don’t use those huge baskets with 12-20 people, we fly just 4-6 people in each basket.  The smaller baskets with fewer people on a flight allow passengers a full panoramic view for the entire flight. This makes for better panoramic photography and allows for a more intimate experience with nature. This is the best way to experience Hot Air Ballooning and is just what a first class “VIP flight” is all about.

FLIGHT DETAILS
Launchsite Location: 1376 Great Western Dr. Longmont, CO 80501

It takes just 2 highways and about a 30 minute drive from Denver to our main launchsite.  When you need to be at the launchsite at sunrise, having an easy to find launchsite is very important.
We are centrally located between Denver and Rocky Mountain National Park, in north Boulder County. Many of our guests plan a day-trip to Rocky Mountain National Park after their flight because of our close proximity to the Park.

We fly close to mountains, lakes, rivers and wildlife. The 14,259 ft. Long’s Peak of Rocky Mountain National Park is just to the west. We typically launch next to the St. Vrain River and when we soar into the sky you will see that there are actually well over a hundred bodies of water nearby. Farming and agriculture in this area have long been supported by the abundant water flowing out of the mountains. We like flying here because we are both close to the mountains and where there is water, there is wildlife. The birds of prey are often perched on branches in big old trees that are near the water. As we gently float down and glide above the water and tree tops, you can hear the wildlife getting louder as you breathe in the crisp morning air on your majestic flight.

    Jeff was timely and punctual in all our communications leading up to the flight. My wife and i had several questions for Jeff and he talked us through everything he was thinking, everything he was doing and seeing, from the instruments in the balloon, to the natural signals he was watching on the ground. The way he landed the balloon led me to believe he is supremely skilled at his craft. We landed on a dirt road (between the tire treads - are you kidding??!!!) as requested.   3. 95th Birthday Balloon Ride
    Jeff and crew offered a fantastic experience for such a special occasion. My father was celebration his 95th birthday with a balloon ride. Jeff took special care to assure the safety and enjoyment for him and the other passengers. The balloon was beautiful, the crew were all helpful and informative.
